1989 Honda trx 250r , In 2020 I finished a full “preservation” not restoration. I left as much of the original parts, paint and coatings as I could, which is most of the bike. Hardware, axle and other parts that were zinc plated from factory I had redone in same zinc as from factory, simply due to age and fading. The only parts painted were the foot pegs, rear grab bar and front bumper. All other painted and black passivate coated parts are original. I wanted the bike to be fresh mechanically and visually,but not full restore to erase all signs of use. I purchased from original owner. It was only ever ridden in the sand and never saw dirt, see pics of skids and frame. Was the fathers bike and purchased in spring of 1991 from a dealer in Tucson. I have certificate of origin as well as AZ title in my name. The engine was on original bore and bottom end had never been opened. Chassis and engine are completely fresh with all Honda parts. The only parts not Honda are the air filter ,support ring, and rear sprocket which is a sunstar who made the oem sprockets for Honda.
